Please remember that our plants are living and will respond to their immediate environment and weather conditions.

To make your new plant friend feel welcome and comfortable, make sure you unpack him or her on arrival and water within 24 hours of delivery.

Occasionally your new plant may look a little tired after their journey, especially in hot weather, but they will soon bounce back once they are unwrapped and watered.

Care Instructions are included with every order. Please follow these instructions to ensure the maximum enjoyment for you and your new plant friend ♡

Item substitution

Whilst we try to make every effort to ensure that all our products are aligned with the product images and descriptions on our website, certain products are subject to seasonal availability. If they are unavailable, we will substitute with a similar product / variety of equal or higher value.

Should this occur we may notify you prior to the order being dispatched.


All our gifts are wrapped to ensure safe, intact delivery without major soil spills. Your gift is packed with the utmost care to ensure your plant is protected during delivery. It is wrapped and cushioned with recycled newspaper, wood wool or other sustainable packing products to ensure it arrives safely.

At times, minor issues of presentation arise in transit. Please email us if you are unhappy with the presentation of your gift upon receipt.

Return policy


Our goal is to make sure you are happy with your order and the service you have received. In most cases, if your order arrives damaged, we will replace or refund.

Our gifts are created by hand as they are ordered to ensure you receive the freshest products available. Your gift will look very similar to the photos shown on our site, but some differences will occur as each plant has its own characteristics and no two gifts are identical.  

If your order arrives damaged or not as expected, please get in touch within 24 hours of delivery. Make sure you include your name and order number as well as a photo of the damage for us to assess.

Please do not dispose of your plant or products. We are unable to replace or refund if the original plant is unable to be assessed.

Changed your mind?

Due to the fragile nature of plants, we are unable to accept returns if you have changed your mind.


Designer Plant Store, its owners and employees, respect your privacy. We will not transfer your personal or sales details to any other third party and will maintain strict compliance with The Privacy Act 1988. 

If you would like to be removed from our postal or email list, please contact us and we will act in accordance with your instructions.
